The Car Wash Show, the industry’s largest annual gathering, is one of the fastest-growing trade shows in the country, according to a new ranking from the Trade Show News Network.
The organization, which tracks attendance and square footage among the nation’s industry conferences, will hold its own conference in Cleveland in November. Recently, they unveiled the Top 50 fastest growing trade shows, as measured by size and, separately, by physical space.
The 2014 Car Wash Show, which lasted three days between March and April, brought about 6,000 people to Chicago for seminars, demonstrations, and celebrations marking the 100th anniversary of the invention of the automatic car wash. The 2013 show drew nearly 5,900 attendees, including car wash business owners, suppliers, and consultants.
The International Carwash Association runs The Car Wash Show. This year, they announced the first global iteration of the event, “Car Wash Show Europe,” to be held Oct. 5-7 in Amsterdam. Back in the States, the 2015 Car Wash Show will be in April in Las Vegas.
“The Top 50 fastest-growing show winners were chosen by their show’s growth rate between 2011-2013 in attendance and net square footage,” said TSNN President and Editor-in-Chief Rachel Wimberly. “We are really excited to fete all of the winners for an incredible three-day weekend celebration in Cleveland.”
