The Car Wash Show in Las Vegas this year drew record numbers as thousands of industry professionals ventured to the desert to take in the exhibits.
In all, 6,900 professionals showed, marking a 22 percent increase over last year’s event held in Chicago. There were 10,000 car wash locations represented and the event put on 1,200 educational and networking events from April 23 to April 25. Next year’s event will take place in Nashville, Tennesee, according to the International Carwash Association.
The increased attendance mirrored a pattern in the industry itself.
“We’re in the midst of a period of great growth for the car wash industry,” ICA CEO Eric Wulf told TSNN News. “Data from our Wash Count program and reports from operators across North America confirm strong wash volumes, ticket averages and profitability.”
