Want to learn how to start a car wash as a manager? Maybe you already have a business but you’re looking to improve your management style? Either way, an upcoming event could be for you.
A consulting firm that focuses on car washes around the globe will host a two-day seminar in Alabama. The Florida-based company, Brinks Results, made the announcement on its website earlier this month. The seminar will take place July 19 and 20 in Birmingham.
The seminar is called Creating Exceptional Managers in the Car Wash Industry. Program developer Steve Gaudreau, a 25-year veteran of the industry, will lead the two-day event. All participants will receive a copy of the book, by the same name, and a 27-page report, course workbook and handouts. Think of it like a crash course in how to manage a car wash.
But it’s not just for people who are new to the industry. Day one of the seminar will include an introduction followed by interactive lectures on topics including managing customers and employees, retaining customers, and combining quality and speed when it comes to production. The second day will deal with seven other topics including how to recruit entry-level workers, how to train workers and how to coach experienced workers.
To register, participants can call 239-334-1050 or email firstname.lastname@example.org. There is a limited number of spaces, so participants should call soon.
